Introduction to Graphite - Tonal Values
Using Graphite and Pencil Why do some artists have qualities in their drawings that make them look more like a photograph, or are more interesting drawings. Beginning Watercolor Painting -
It's All About the Water!
This class will introduce students to techniques, methods and appropriate tools to achieve great results in watercolor and water media. Students will learn how to apply watercolor washes, wet on dry and wet on wet applications to achieve their own "magic" in watercolors! All Materials are provided. Watercolor II
Learning how to layer colors and and define objects in watercolor. Working with transparent colors we will paint a seascape introducing the students to beginning landscape and water elements using appropriate brush strokes and color mixing techniques.
Acrylic classes are all beginner level.
Acrylic I - This class is about basic brush strokes and color mixing techniques for basic landscape elements of skies, clouds and mountains. Many people do not realize that just like there is an appropriate way to handle a pencil, there are appropriate ways to handle brushes to get desired results!
Acrylic II - Complimentary Color Studies in Acrylic Painting: Learn how to use color complements to achieve vibrancy and spark in your painting!
