Choose from many image templates or paint freehand in watercolor or acrylics. Learn brush strokes, color mixing and other "tricks of the trade" that make a painting look professional in an easy fun and simple class environment with guided professional assistance from Artist Tina Steele Penn.
Taste of Art - One Hour Class in NoDa or Cornelius - $48.00
Saturday April 7, 1:00 p.m. - Charlotte Saturday July 14, 1:00 p.m. - Charlotte Taught by artist Tina Steele Penn Taste of Art class is held at The Peddler's Post at 2320 N. Davidson Street, 28205, across 27th street from Amalie's French Bakery, or Tina's Studio in Cornelius at 20520 N. Main Street, Cornelius NC 28031 You will have a finished painting to take home, using either a template for guidance or free hand. All materials are included. (Except a piece of cardboard or foamcore 11x14 to stretch your painting on) Either way it is an extra fabulous fun way to learn more about painting. You will learn what kind of brushes to use, how to mix your colors and cleaning brushes etc. All classes require advance registration - Register here. Class is $ 48.00 Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. Please see dates above for available registrations. Student will need to bring a piece of cardboard or foamcore to class (Approximately 11”x14” ) to stretch and carry their art work home on. All other materials are provided!
